The process to recruit for a non-exempt (hourly) Bargaining Unit position is described below:

The collective bargaining agreement sets certain parameters for hiring temporary workers to perform bargaining unit work. Typically, a temporary employee is not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week. However, a temporary employee may work up to forty (40) hours per week to satisfy the following temporary needs:

A temporary BU employee will not be permitted to work more than 1000 hours in a fiscal year.
